I hadn't heard of Black Butler before but I like the over arching concept. It brings to mind certain lyrics from the song "Sober" by Tool mixed with some supernatural entities of sorts. Which, funny enough, is a major part of Lovecraft's repertoire believe it or not.

I feel like such an idiot. Like MariaMjolnir, I haven't gotten a chance to read any of his books, though they sound like the perfect match for me, but until now I didn't know that the Necrinomicon was one of his creations. I've always associated him with Cthulu and the great old ones.
