Your critique function isn't on for this, but I am popping in on behalf of *CritiqueWeek , so I'll give this a run down anyway in comment form (I just hope I get to 100 words, I always seem to fall short when it's in comment form).
First off, I adore rule of thirds, or close to rule of thirds, flower photography. You've an interesting piece of subject matter here as well, it's not your conventional pansy or tulip..or maybe it is, because I don't know my flowers very well, but it doesn't look like either to me 
The stark, muted and earthy background really lends this some grace. It brings out the delicious coloring in the flower, and how there is no distractions is what really sets off the little hairs on the petals and stem. A nice treat for the eyes, for sure! It was captured wonderfully, it reminds me of dusk, which is one of my favorite times of day, especially to see flowers, which always smell so wonderful as the outdoors are cooling off for the night.
Only thing I could think to suggest is to clear up the minute amount of noise in the plain background. It's barely noticeable, but I'd hate to go off without critiquing some part of the picture, the rest is so nicely done.
Other then that, you've got quite a unique flower portrait here, one that I would certainly be proud of if I had taken it myself.

About the noise, trust me it had more (iso 1600), so what you see here is the result of some heavy noise reduction. I guess a bit of blur on the noisy parts could solve the problem, so a revisit is in order. Will do when some free time comes up.(currently going through the final highschool exams thingie)
And I don't know what kind of flower is either, but what I can tell you is that it's quite tiny (1cm or so).

(don't worry, I didn't know either, and was a total wtf moment when my subscription expired and the symbol next to my name didn't change. 
The size of the flower made everything more difficult, cause, as ai don't have a macro lens, I had to use my 18-55 kit lens reversed, to fill the frame with the tiny flower. The shallow dof was the hardest part, and I had to do about 50 shots to get this one, which was the only good one.
The noise didn't bother me as much at first, and after the noise reduction, it didn't bother me at all, but now, that you mentioned it, it does look a bit "grainy". But, as I said, when I'll find some free time, I'll take care of it!

Oh the noise wasn't a problem really! Don't put yourself out just because I had to struggle to find something to point out that could be considered a flaw in any way, I just hate not having something to say, because most people think that a critique has to have at least one thing that's 'wrong' with the image. And I couldn't find anything else

Focusul a fost cel mai dificil, cum de altfel cam e la pozele facute cu tehnica asta. Dar imi place si mie cum a iesit.
Nu cred ca-s picaturi de apa, more like chestii excretate de floare, ceva de genu. Apa in nici un caz oricum.
Cand am incadrat-o, am urmarit orientarea ei, si fiind in jos, am decis sa las spatiul de jos mai mare. Stiu ca e chestie destul de evidenta si total ne-iesita din comun, dar eu asa am vazut-o.
Am incercat in post procesare sa o recompun, dar nici o varianta nu mi-a placut.

apropo, am incercat sa fac niste poze la un ochi in camera... seara... cu el reversed la 55mm parca. pauza lumina; am incercat cu blitz la +2 cu bounce

Cred ca cel mai bine e sa incerci chestia asta cu ochiul pe lumina de zi, mai ales ca e destul soare zilele astea. Doar ca tot o s-o cam omori!
Eu am avut noroc ca batea soarele prin geam, si era oarecum destula lumina, da si eu am tras de iso, desi vad ca ar fi mers bine si cu un iso 800.
Incearca sa faci cu rafala, si sa te apropii incet incet in timp ce trage cadrele. Mult mai eficient decat cu single shot.
Bafta la experimentat!

I tried to take all in focus, but the light wasn't strong enough to allow me to close the aperture more, so I had to stick the wide open aperture = very shallow dof.
