I've been drawing just a ton but not actually getting much done, just practicing. But I've missed being active on devart, so I tried my best to do some speedpainting so I could post something <3.Anyways, this was drawn about earlier this month, inspired by much too much Kami Nomi zo Shiru, a song from one of the Sera Myus (Sailor Moon Musicals.) Like Mizu Natsuki, I got attracted towards Miki Kawasaki (?), who played Kunzite. Although I initially didn't really like Sera Myu or the song in particular (and Miki!Kunzite really weirded me out at first), 3 notes really drew me in ( Ware ga Shitennou....chikyuukoku no eien...), and I saw...this.
I don't usually draw Kunzite, so this was rather interesting <3. I was lucky that Miki was actually doing this particular pose for all of 0:03 seconds during the play. Took me a long time to get her as a reference. <3.

Aside from Marik, Kunzite's the other "major seme" who always makes me feel bad for him. Ryou's a wuss (cute one at that) so we HAVE to feel bad for him, and Zoisite can be a *itch sometimes (so we can't. XD) - but Kunzite, completely among the highest of my list of "tragic semes" that I just can't seem to avoid feeling sympathy for <3. He suffers too much, Kunzite. <3

ohh I see what you were saying about the background. I love how you continued the sunbeam effect on his clothes... and the background looks almost like it was blended with copics (at the bottom corner) It's a very interesting effect. Very soft, looks nearly painted if I didn't know any better : D
