It took me about 3 weeks to finally realize Steven said he didn't have the other shoe for the right feet.

It's actually that he's saying he doesn't have any other feet in the sense of "How are the shoes on the wrong feet, I don't have any other feet for shoes to go on" and not what Pearl meant in the fact his left shoe was on his right foot and visa versa.
