Description &CHECK OUT MY OTHER EYE TUTORIAL: [link]

I was feeling like making a tutorial.
Note: this is meant for GIMP but i'm pretty sure it's fine with photoshop also.

I think editing eyes is so cool, don't you?

Image used is from this account, Eye Stock II
Brushes from ~KeReN-R Stars Brushes

//EDIT
Lol, i just reread it and there are some stupid mistakes (like 'bruses' ), just ignore them

And sorry for not explaining how to turn image to black and white. Just go to colors->desaturate and choose any of the options and click the button "desaturate".

What software did you use?
I have multiple ones like Sai Paint tools, Autodesk Sketchbook pro/Designer, and Photofiltre.

it works the same way with photoshop.
Sometimes, I find that using the color bend mode gives
more interesting effect/contrast than the overlay mode.

Wish me luck, been wanting to do this kind of thing, I take pictures of my puppy and he really has 5 different shades of brown in his eyes but in pictures that doesn't show up so I was wanting to add so it looks more like MY puppy and not just A puppy...

Silaynne:

First thing: Great tutorial. I learnt the basics of colour-changing eyes on PS.

Segond: May I translate this tutorial to Spanish in order to use it in a Facebook fanpage? I'll credit you as the author.

Regards.

This is an EXCELLENT tutorial, but I have one small question: How do you add two or three colors as you show in the examples at the bottom? I'm having great difficulty getting them to blend so nicely, I'm afraid. Help a Gimper out? Please?
