Description
This is the first in a series of pieces that I've been commissioned to do by my current employer, featuring the characters from my/the company's upcoming project.Prints will be available as soon as it's approved.
The next image in the series will be up hopefully sometime within the next month.
Approximatey 50 hours, Photoshop 7, working off of a sketch.

I like the foreground character lots, but I am simply in love with that background. The colors on the clouds are just lovely, and I love how you rendered them. I mean, it just looks so grand and majestic and glorious, and I think that adds a lot to the piece. It gives the character something to look joyous about. ^_^
On to the character! I love his expression. It's so open and happy. His braid is really spiffy, and I like how there are so many loose strands to it, like it's starting to come undone from being in the wind. I also love the color of his wings. Just because blue is a loverly color.

This is just gorgeous! I'm glad I had the honor of approving it when it came thorugh the queue! I think it's my favorite of all the work I've seen fomr you! I absolutely love the majesty it conveys. Definitely a nice touch with the figure above the clouds. And the wings are just awesome! If I could fave this twice, I would.

For some reason, the wings stick out to me. They look really nice, not that the rest of the picture doesn't as well.
