Description
Been a while since I hit the "submit" button.Anyway, in my "free time" (heh heh) I've been messing around with designs for some of the gods in my little uh. World. Story. Thing. Most of them just exist as doodles at the moment, but I liked this guy and decided to color him. : ) I have a couple others floating around that I might color if I get some spare time.
Until then, a submission! Huzzah!

See this is what gets me, you have this "Fantasy"... what the heck is Anthro artwork anyways? Does being a deity, or having some sorta explanatory back-story make it not anthro anymore? Or is it purely physical appearance... Heck, if you want to get technical about it, a regular talking animal is considered as anthro...
Guh, sorry to bring this mini rant onto your image. Anyways, I really like the image here, the pose and atmosphere are nice, and I'm partial towards glowing eyes. :3 If I could offer any bit of critique though, it'd be to maybe make the features a bit more dominant. This appears somewhat genderless to me, and actually, at first glance, I thought it was female. I know this is exceptionally difficult with animal faces, so maybe making the body a bit more angular would help out.

I love how high up the body the tail is positioned. The flecks of red/brown in the fur toward the hand/foot are a nice touch as well, makes for a very natural body color.
