Description
Well, I got in the mood to paint trees yesterday, so.. I started painting trees. Then I wanted to put something in the trees, and things just... kind of got out of control from there...Related content

This looks like "The Wild Hunt"...A strange glowing beastie...ethereal trees and greenish lighting--definitely strange and enchanting. ^,^

beautiful, as usual. and i'll go for harry potter than mononoke- it reminds me of the forest of dean in the last book, where harry finds godric gryffindor's sword.

It's new! Like it? That's me, smiling at everybody. The 6 second delay is timed for maximum impact.

Looks fantastic, even without badass monkeys on motorcycles. This reminds me a lot of the Phoenix Requiem comic.
Such an other-worldly painting. I love it <3

I agree with smsldoo on the Princess Mononoke refference. =]
I always find that when you're painting it turns out better when things "just happen" instead of when you're trying to go for a specific image. That's just me, though.
I love the way the dear is sort of skeletal. It gives it a very ethereal quality, like it's floating. =]

Yeah, I usually have better luck painting without a plan. It's less frustrating for me I think, since I'm not trying to get something to look exactly the way it does in my head.

^_^ I definitely thought "Migration" by looking at it in the thumbnail. I love the spiritlike quality of the figures. Beautiful job

Reminds me a lot of Princess Mononoke.
Excellent detail on the trees. Has a very dreamlike feel to it also.
