I'd say you came up with something most outstanding!
Since her right leg is already extended forward, she should try to lunge forward to press forward with a strained look on her face as she tries to pull her left leg out, find that it's stuck tight, and only manages to drive her right leg deeper into the mire. Then she'd be standing there stuck fast and sunk to her upper thighs in the quicksand wondering what to do next as she slowly sinks deeper into the ooze.
