Rest well, my child... and let Lorelei's peace surround you.Interpret it however you will. I had to draw this after a certain point in playing Tales of the Abyss and my God, this game makes me feel all so weird because of the serious amount of "ZOMG" and "WTF" moments in it. =_=; And I had to get this image out of my head anyway therefore I threw my homework aside and worked over this before I slept. /grin
Also, Ion is a (very important) guy, despite him wearing an awesome robe that somewhat resembles a nightgown and cute little ballerina-like shoes. xD

I love the upward motion/vapor-like implied lines. It fits with the whole disintegrating dealie.
Everything turned out so well! You did a great job with his clothes. They look really accurate. That background is very pretty and appropriate, too.

That is a gorgeous composition. Ion looks so peaceful.
Ion is an awesome character, even if he is always getting kidnapped. I think that's one reason why that scene is so powerful 'cause you're just thinking to yourself, "Man, we got to rescue Ion again?" and then fifteen minutes later it's, "Er, wait. What happened?" *insert numb expression of shock*
The perspective on his legs in the region of the thighs look odd. They look like they are attached to his body in an awkward manner (if you were to imagine what that body were to look like underneath his robes)

I really didn't mind him getting kidnapped so much (for the first time, I don't mind it. D; I mean when Rinoa got kidnapped in FF8 I was like "urrghhhh not again you useless girl!"), because I don't think he could have put up much of a fight either (since he doesn't have the strength to do so) when one of the God-Generals took him so I guess it's in his nature to just go along quietly. Urrrr I had that same expression and I remember going "WTF" for a long time after that scene. =0=;
Yeap, everyone's been pointing out the legs. D: I'll really have to take note of the proportions in the future... Thanks though. <333 XD

Mmmm yes. My brother spoiled me about that part when i was still really early in the game, but it still had quite an impact when it happened. *Hugs you* I know how it feels though... Gremio in Suikoden, Ferid in SuiV, etc. ;o;

And yes, I KNOW! To me, Luc had the most impact in the Suiko universe and then Ferid comes in as no.2. I felt really sad for days when that part happened in the game... OTL
