Description
This is Tea's part for SUBARASEA, a little project by myself and ~mikuen-drops for Comic Fiesta 2011's 100 Days Countdown! We booked the slot for November 18 / Day 29
We were thinking of a theme to draw and finally settled on an underwater theme. I had loads of fun drawing this (although last minute hahahahh), 'cause as of late I just really wanted to draw a shark... also see if you can spot a little reference from Mawaru Penguindrum in the pic. XD

Very cool piece! I've always liked mer-folk a lot, and this is really well done~. I especially like the fact that you didn't draw him as being overly muscular, like I've seen done so much before with other drawings of mermen.

Thanks! It's my first time drawing a merman actually, rendering the scales was quite a challenge. And yeah I didn't like the fact that most of the mermen references I've seen had them as super muscular (to follow the Greek gods I suppose?). Glad you liked that small aspect
