Time for the other best character! (I'm kidding, they're all the best character.) I actually prefer Vitani's design in The Lion Guard over Simba's Pride, which is odd, because they're very different and The Lion Guard isn't where one usually goes for character design. I tried to get a happy medium between them and I think I'm okay with where it ended up.

My headcanon for Vitani, which I may or may not keep, is that one day she learns that in the eyes of Shenzi's matriarchal and violent hyena colony, she's the only legitimate heir of Scar. Of course this is absolutely unwanted, but it could prove to be an essential diplomatic tool, so there are difficult choices ahead of her.
