Yeah, he just had hernia surgery, a surgery that was instigated by his performance of Phantom! He didn't even have to perform, his sub was ready and willing! Stubborn MC...
Oh, I just heard a sound clip of MC phlubbing his lines! I wish I could show you.
It went something like this:

This is a blooper from ALW's show. Phantom fell asleep in the angel statue during the rooftop scene. You should recognize it from the movie, though Phantom isn't up in the statue in it. He's supposed to whisper "Christine..." but the mic only caught his snoring!
