There is no black.There is no white.
I can see no gray,
For color is all that should be.
A gift for my amazing friend, Joana. I've known her for nearly four years now, ever since we joined Elfwood around the same time. We've spend many days critiquing, praising, and talking about our art. Not only that, we've had several wonderful conversations about life in general and have gotten to know each other quite well. Joana is such a sweetheart, always ready and willing to lend a helping hand--or pencil. Our birthdays are only a couple of days apart to, though I forget the exact date every year
Ooops. Anyway, Joana, here is your beautiful boy, Ninniach in all his colorful glory!

Wow, I am completely and totally amazed by this wonderful picture! The colours are so vibrant and beautiful, especially on those gorgeous wings. What a creative design too, this really looks like a character I don't want to miss!

The bright colours are stunning, but I'm very impressed by how smoothly you've shaded the background. The only thing I can criticise is that his rump isslightly odd looking in the way it meets his leg

I know what you mean, I started drawing my pics facing right because most of them faced left, but lately they face left mostly, again... It's kind of hard XD

It is hard when you get used to drawing them one direction. Even when I was little and started drawing horses, they faced left. I really need to get over that

I think it has something to do with being right or left handed... I'm like that too and it's so much easier to draw facing left for me, it feels more comfortable I guess.

Probably because we start with the head and we are right handed, so we move away from the left to avoid smudging or something. I don't know
