Just to clarify, Seven is another mare, not their father. I know some folks were expecting the mystery twig-snapper to be their daddy, but he's on the next page. 
I'mma be SO glad when it's day again! Adjusting their colors for night-time is killing me! haha.

Runt isn't the right word. Twin pregnancies in any equine are very rare. The survival rate of twin foals is very low as well. It is natural for twins to be weak. A twin foal is also smaller than a "singleton" foal.
