Description

also an easy way is using emmy1320's brush since it's like the dapple dot. And then do your step of 4 and 5!

man...and everyone else tells you a bunch of junk about putting tons of little dots, and smudging, and blending and bluring. I like yours so much better! thank you!

I just have two quick questions. When you say to keep the eraser at 20%, do you mean the flow, size or opacity? And also, did you get that pose for the lineart from a breyer model with the cream mare and chestnut foal? Because it looked a little similar. anyway, amazing tut!

I mean the opacity, yeah. The "strength." And I didn't reference that model, altho I do know the one you mean!
Glad you liked the Tut!

it's not that hard to convert a non-photoshop tutorial into photoshop techniques. ^.^ it helps you learn more about the program and build ur own techniques.
but, if I were you, I'd invest in minor moderately out-dated versions of other image editing/painting programs so that you can test things out and see what is and isn't similar between photoshop and these other programs. Plus, you never know when those other programs'll come in handy on their own.

hmm...well I've got Serif Draw Plus 4.0. that could be tricky although I do have layers. I'll try it.
