I finally got around to making it. n__nCome to find out, I had double the required amount of tabs, so I made an anklet as well, haha.
Those things take a long time. D:

wondering what kind of drink you got your nifty tabs from? I really like the blue ones and don't remember seeing ones like that before...I like that they have 2 holes instead of just one like the monster tabs I have been working with.

Monster tabs are sooo hard to work with. You have to punch holes in them D: The rest are from Amp energy drinks and whatever else I could collect hahaha

in the necklace I didn't have to punch any holes at all. for the earrings I had to but I just used a punch and gave it a good whack with a hammer, only took a couple minutes to do all 6

Pretty much, just lie the tabs top hole to bottom hole, with the holes overlapping. Take string and weave over and under the tabs, kind of like sewing. You can do the same thing with the tabs standing vertically (a method I prefer nowadays).
Sorry if it's confusing. It's pretty hard to explain! Have fun<3

I got the tabs from energy drinks which are colored. :]
And they don't really, I sawed down any edges that were protruding.

...Wow. That's pretty nifty. How did you make it? How many do you need? I have like a thousand tabs laying around from all of my energy drinks, and that sounds like a pretty sweet thing to do with them.

It's just a lot like knitting. All your tabs should overlap over one of their two holes, and just go in and out with your string. I hope that makes sense (I'm really bad at explaining things xP). I had about 40, but only used half making the necklace, but I guess that could vary from person to person.
I'd probably use hemp or something like that, since it's durable. I used that stretchy, plastic necklace stuff which was a bad idea since it didn't tie very well and had to go over it in thicker sewing sting. ;_;
