I’ve switched to a more consistent kind of shading. I love the effects of Hard Light and Burn, but I can’t stock on them. As a result, the shades have gotten much more dim, but I’m working on that. Perhaps with multiple shading layers and different blending modes, I can actually manage my preferred shading type without having to do a 20-side die coin flip for the final quality that entirely depends on the specific shades of colour used.
