You can move the eye around the eyeball so it isn't centered.

Seriously? Do people actually care that the eye is centered or the ear is not pointed? Some people don't even know how to make a pony vector like the one on the right. You are REALLY picky about your ponies!

It doesn't matter unless you are using it as a reference. If you use a reference that is not right, then you learn how to draw ponies the wrong way.

You can draw a pony however you want to -___- everyone has their own style .

The right pony here is not a relaxed stance though, so the comparison isn't perfect either. Also, the show itself has variation in pony anatomy due to the nature of 2D animation. Especially the wings seem to be attached at different points througout the show.
