A while back I bought a Pack of Japanese style postal envelopes and decided to draw random Transformers Portraits on them. With help fromTumblr users I got 27 characters suggested and went to work. And that's what I've been up to for the last 2 months. Now that I've finally finished the 'Envelope Series' and posted them all to tumblr, I'm posting the final coloured versions on here.24 of 27 - Skyquake- (Transformers: Prime version).

Yes, I did just pull a Firefly joke. I adore some of the TFP designs they're so flowy and appealing...
I also had issue with my scanner for the entire 27 envelopes where it bleached or colour shifted. I've corrected as best I can, but alas some of them look bad.
Copic Markers, Copic Multiliners, Pacer. Each took around 4-5 hours to line and about an hour to colour. I lined one per day till I had 6-7 done and then coloured.
Transformers and associated characters are Hasbro and IDW's

So cool... I love the colors on this one for some reason. The green is just so perfect on him. I love it! (And plus, it's Skyquake. who doesn't like Skyquake? XD)

(protip: I actually had to use refs of Dreadwing to draw him. Not enough good quality Skyquake pics anywhere...) I think it looks like he's standing in the sun.

(Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to keep that in mind if I ever draw Skyquake in the future.) Standing in the sun? Hmm, that reminds me of a song... Hail To The King by Avenged Sevenfold! (The song kind of works with Skyquake and Starscream in my opinion...)
