Description
Medium: Watercolour & ink on paperSize: approx A5.
An abstract piece that I realised, in the last few minutes of its creation,Β was probably about Spring. All organic exuberance and sunny pastels.
Spring and Autumn are probably my two favourite seasons. As the mornings get warmer, and I'm walking up the street on my way to work, I might even bust a rare morning smile - just at the general promise and innate positivity of sunshine. Something about the air seems a bit more electric, and I can find real energy in that where I'd normally be a zombie before at least 11am.
It's lame to say it, but the seasons and general weather have a huge impact on what I create, which I only really notice afterwards.
Thanks for hanging around
~Simon

You did so good with the detail in this one. I like the combonation of the water colour streaks in the back and the impact it makes with the ink outline.
The color complements too ^-^/
The only thing I'd change a little is too add more light and shade to make it look more dementional. I personaly think that it would make a few of the parts that stick out of the most in the picture really POP, you know?
Yeah.. thats the only thing I'd add to it.
Other than that, this is absolutly amazing~!! I've always enjoyed this kind of artwork. IT'S SOO COOL!! xD

Thanks buddy Spring so far is being very unpredictable - pleasant day, followed by freezing day, followed by humid day ending with heavy rain followed by hot dry day. Get your shit together Spring!

You're very welcome.
Mother nature is truly unpredictable, isn't she.
I guess nothing's etched in stone....not even things that are etched in stone!!

I am seeing some type of steampunk musical instrument.Β It is very interesting.Β I spent quite a bit of time looking at it and following the lines around and around.Β

That's great It's funny how organic the designs of a lot of those brass instruments can be. Maybe it's because soundwaves and acoustics and all those things actually are natural phenomena, so it makes sense that their "vessels" need a natural design too. HMMMMMM. Haha
