Just something I did the other day to get a drawing out of my system.My friend was experimenting with making different recycled papers, and offloaded a bunch on to me
I'm pretty lucky like that. This one had string embedded in it, which I hadn't seen before so I was immediately drawn to it, and wanted to somehow incorporate the strings into whatever I drew. I kind of ended up hiding them though, lol. Hence the title.The paper was like concrete to draw on, but it was worth it..for the strings, haha. I've got one or two more so expect another variation of this concept...some day. Actually don't expect it. But don't be surprised by it if it eventuates.

Haha, surrounded by paper-makers. Not really, but I'm subtly influencing all my friends down that hobby path, working it into their subconscious, covering them in recycled paper and making papery sounds while they sleep, then removing all traces before they wake up. Oh, and thanks

Thankyou! Yeah the paper has a great texture, and it's hard to see here but there are little bits of words from old newspapers scattered around
