Some lips. Some biting lips.I did this illustration for the cover of a Sydney Uni magazine that I design as part of my job (I do posters and other designy stuff). I have to be really quick with work stuff...I'd love to spend heaps of time on them, but basically you've got to punch out a different poster/artwork every day. Sometimes I compromise detail in design with wtf-value eg. one poster featured 70s disco puppets with comedy masks shooting lasers out of their eyes and hands. Another featured a lobster, a hot dog, and a man with a bucket on his head all wearing medals on podiums at the Olympics.
Anyway, I quite like how these lips turned out. I might chuck em on a shirt one day. They're sufficiently shiny. Thought I'd share

Well...in the time I've been there I've done a few things I really like, but overall I wish I'd had a whole week to do any one illustration. It's always busy! But I do enjoy it

May I ask you, which tool do you use for making this kind of art? Something like Adobe Illustrate? I love this art style!

My laaaate reply: I started in Illustrator with the pen tool, then took it into Photoshop to add the burning/dodging/noise effects

melting strawberry chapstick is what I thought of first hahaha, BUT you should totally go watch rocky horror picture show.... it will definitely inspire you to make some cool stuff and I want to see what you create from that experience I am sure it would be epic.
