... beauty, ballet, black swan, bat... what can you think of?

I thought I'd do some figure drawing to relax this evening. It started out horribly, but I kept going and I'm glad I did, because this little baby was the result.
It's quite small (less than 9x14cm/3x6 inches) and rendering things in detail was tons of fun.
The drawing in real life has a glow and a softness that just won't come through in the scan no matter how much I tweak it in photoshop.

Materials used: good old white printer paper, a trusty 4B graphite pencil, a much needed kneaded eraser (aha! surprise pun to the face! ) and a blending stump (I was gonna make another pun here, but then I thought "too soon, Simon, too soon")
