XD Crisis is just as adorable male as she is female and Jissy! Ooh that hilarious hair! XD Hmm Clare as a guy? Well I can't see much change to be honest. XD She wouldn't be seeking how how to learn to create nagalings. Actually since Clare is a tensy bit of a ditz "he" still might think that's how it works XD Oh that'd be even more funny. Bigger axe and perhaps wanting to know more about daddy than just mommy. Also might not be as resistant to Vivian's charm spell and nose bleed till he fainted. XD Oh that's ahillarious image! Vivian is foiled no matter which universe!

Kharl: Weirdly would be happier cause a gal Chilotaur with dead hair and a slightly pessimistic view

Ally: XD More insecure or very outgoing. I mean with ehr spot patern? Come on.

Nelda: Would be the same except she'd wear less girly jewerly and probably be even more arrogant as a Lord rather than a Lady. XD

Tam: Buffer. Oddly I think she'd be a fit male just because of her choice of weapon and how active she is. I'm not entirely sure she'd be bisexual anymore. XD But I can see that if she was? It'd be even more akward for her companions than it is now.

Mays: Slightly more neurotic and a bit adorkable in a early "Daniel Jackson" manner. But being masculine might make her less mousy.

Mobius: Would be radically different and probably would have long ago married into a more powerful house and assimilated it. XD She'd be one of those "You have to hyphenate YOUR last name" kind of gals.

Oxhand: Would be terribly more bossy and might be less of a thrill seeker and more of a "big mama" pleasure seeker.

Jarvis the Neko Butler: Would be just as loyal to Lady Mobia Autero but would be more energetic and cute and just as good at making people disappear.

there wouldn't be much change in Chelsa if she was sex swapped, the hack vhiyra society wherein she was raised is almost entirely deficient in the concept of gender roles assigned to the different sexes, both sides have equal expectations of toughness placed upon them as well as duties within the community and with family, but in general their mindset is swayed towards what we would consider "masculine" which is why Chelsa tends to be pretty butch

Oh wow, what a fascinating concept!  I think you captured the alternate-universe gender-switchy versions quite well - the characters are really surprisingly recognizable despite the drastic change.

As for how such a thing might effect my own characters . . .

Mina (Manny?) would probably be a a bit harder to get along with in general, more upset and frustrated by his early failures to thrive, and also perhaps harbor some genuine resentment towards his mother (father? Assuming they both got genderbent) for failing to teach him how to survive in the wind before abandoning him.  His relationship with Holly (Holt?) would also be quite a bit altered, since the female version is rather feminine and nurturing.  I see the male version having a lot more bonding through sitting in silence together, sort of a crash course in patience taught through example, possibly without explaining it first, like the old 'wax on, wax off' trope.

I think Chintipni (and the name is even kinda gender-neutral) would behave almost exactly the same . . . except that being super horny, omnisexual and having little concept of personal space is something that would probably be slightly less tolerated in general coming from a male.  Damn double-standards.

Hehe...well this was an incredibly amusing thing to see, and also just very interseting to think about!  Really do like how their personalities still show through here still too heh- very much them still, but can also feel the effects of the gender change on them just enough.  As for thinking on mine...well, Liora already has a perfect name for it thanks to a certain someone being Larry haha...as for personality, scarily I could see him being even more reckless and overly confident of himself....though just as much as a crazy happy nut as ever XD.  Ciel is a bit more of an interesting one... having trouble thinking of a name, but possibly Cleo or something along those lines heh.  A lot of his past personality works fairly well as is, although perhaps maybe not as patient with some things like dealing with Larry probably hehe.

What would a male Jissy (Jiseph) be like? Well, for one thing, would he have been kidnapped as a baby and sold to a warlord, as Jissy was? Probably. Though presumably Alez Lahmit wouldn't have dressed him up in fancy clothing and jewellery. His place of confinement may have been less comfortable, and more brutal, than Jissy's 'gilded cage' was. But Lahmit would still have shown him off to guests, and fed enemies (or annoyances) to him.
If we're "gender-bending" Roshan (Roshana?) as well, then Jiseph had a female human carer, who mothered and supported him, and helped him to escape to Felarya. Roshana would probably be very similar to Roshan: fairly tough, pragmatic, but rather sentimental about this naga. Maybe, though, she'd have had to break through Jiseph's male reluctance to confide in her and to seek her emotional support.
Assuming Ajab is female (Ajaya?) in this version of Felarya, we'd have Ajaya, well-travelled and with her long experience of life, taking under her wing (and mating with) a young male Jiseph still adapting to life in Felarya. I can imagine Ajaya being a bit impatient, and sometimes bossy, with Jiseph. As a dad rather than as a mum, Jiseph would (I think) have taken quite enthusiastically to the task of hunting to feed his mate while she's curled round the nest. Interesting possibilities.

I admit a male version of Milly (Millian?) is quite difficult to imagine.

God, I'd have so many male characters. The handsome, long-haired gentleman-in-a-suit Niel (Niela), the serious and opinionated warrior-scholar Taihaku (her name is unisex), and the soft-spoken, blank-faced boy-with-a-bowl-cut Mason and his falsetto (or heavy-smoker)-voiced wooden puppet dressed in a purple dress and witch's hat Jean (Molly and Geno).

Zelkova will be Zelkova. She's already too manly to be genderchanged!

I thought Crisis would go best by Crusher, it keeps most of the sound. Though "Chris" works too, and obviously Cristopher. In fact, I always picture the guy chasing after nekos, crying "Don't run! You'll just die tired!"
