This is awesome, and not just because I loooove how cute Mina is in your style!
Believe it or not, I just finished reading the story this is based on. That's how slow I am.
But yeah, I love this to death. All the characters are so expressive and full of personality - even if I weren't familiar with them all already, I feel like I'd get a good glimpse of their personalities just from this single image. Milly and Tina being their sweet, voracious selves. Tarynn being the lovably awkward and uneasy elf we know so well. Mina's adorable shyness. Caylin's sexy, pouty guardedness. All perfect.

She is a cutey patootey to be true Glad you liked it! Mina's such a nuanced subtle character I don't know why I made her just happily holding some fruit, but it just seemed to work somehow. And don't worry, when it comes to late feedback you've a long way to go before you beat me, young padawan..!

ohh lol that's quite thee gathering! maybe i should head over to 's ngs and see what is conspiring here lol. with all tarynns misgivings about eating live prey i can understand her having a little fruit instead, but anko eating fruit? haha, now that is a interesting change lol.

That's actually Mina, not Anko. She's much more of a sweetheart - but also quite a cunning predator when she needs to be!

Wow i really haven't seen any art featuring her for quite a long time, i'm used to seeing anko as the one blue mermaid in central felarya, interesting. i suppose ill have to read the story, so Tarynn did decide to partake in the voring this time eh?

Well, Tarynn eats whatever she can whenever she can; the poor thing is too skinny and unlucky to do otherwise. And this time the food was all provided, so she just had to tuck in.
And you're right, it had been a long time since we'd seen a picture of Mina!

Ah, this is lovely! Poor Tarynn, trying so hard to fit in that she doesn't. The stress of putting on a facade, maintaining her composure and waiting to see what will go wrong... Mina, Milly and Tina look nicely relaxed, very much in the friendly party spirit of the picnic (despite the ominous grey sky!), which just emphasises that contrast. Living in the moment. And Caylin looking guarded, of course.
Tina stuffing herself greedily is amusing, and the way Caylin is holding that poor tiny naga-girl looks very uncomfortable!

Nice job on portraying all these characters "Lorimer Style." It's fun to see them next to Tarynn, fitting in with your style, yet instantly recognizable. And the expressions are excellent. From the enthusiastic Milly to the reserved and self-doubting Tarynn.
I also really like the way you posed the figures - managing natural poses while, for example hiding Tina's breasts. A nice way to create a SFW image without resorting to fig leaves XD
Though as a non-artist, I'm having trouble identifying specifically what you did differently. You usually work mostly with flat colors, and I'm seeing more gradients here, and the piece has an overall softer feel compared with some of your other work. Regardless, nice to see you continue to experiment.
