Hehehe....spying on Malika, I'm not sure you can honestly chalk that one up to the bad luck curse on Tarynn's part, she was just asking for something like that to happen! I think one of my favorite details are the small changes of her hair in the bottom of each panel heh....really shows just how 'frayed' she is at the end of that day after each incident XD.

Anyway, great start here, and as I find myself constantly reiterating, I just love how expressive and alive everything looks in your drawings! Her reaction to Malika was hilarious. I can't wait to see where the rest of this goes.
As for the accent - I really rather like characters with accents, especially in giant multicultural settings like Felarya, so it certainly works for me headcannon-wise.
