Carrying on from my doodles of humanized!Shard and NICOLE, I'm getting around to posting my human verions of the rest of the cast, starting with Sally. (Actually I did Sonic's first, but shhh...)Besides the robot characters, I try to make my humanized versions a bit more natural looking, instead of having really crazy anime hair and fantasy outfits. My goal was to make human versions that would invoke the same kind of feelings and reactions from the other characters and audience as their mobian counterparts do. Basically, as if I had to retell all of the Archie Sonic history, but with humans instead of mobians. I'm avoiding the typical gijinka look of KPOP boy with blue emo hair. Personally, that's just not my bag, and I've seen it done too many times to do it myself. Cool beans if that's what you like, it's just not for me.
I wish I could have hair as fluffy and flawless as hers is here. o__o

Interesting take on Sally's hair! I think what's great and spot-on with this design in pariticular, is how her nose resembles the chipmunk nose/muzzle SO well. The thick legs you've given her makes her look like a fighter too. Wish I had more to say but I think you've handled her very well overall. Nice work!

Thanks! I wanted her to read more mousy/rodent-like than the leggy model she's sometimes depicted as. Compared to characters like Rouge or Bunnie, I think she'd have a more reined-in appearance, more down-to-earth and tomboyish.

Gotta comment on this too- LOVE how her eyes and nose hint at her mobian design here as well! And congrats on figuring out her hair, I think you're one of the first ones Ive seem to adapt it well :U jeez just these two designs are so great, I'm excited to see how others turn out!

My goal with the hair was something big and boyish like you'd find in a 90's family sitcom. It seemed that was a good approach! XD

I have a handful of characters already designed besides these two that I'll be working on next, so I have plenty to keep me busy for now.
