Double fanart time!I happened to get issue #223 of Sonic the Hedgehog on the same day HBO was airing a Looney Tunes special, and it was at that moment that I realized Geoffrey St. John and Hershey Cat were like Pepe Le Pew and Penelope.

I don't think that was the original intention, since they were both introduced separately and didn't hook up until, like, 75 issues later. But that might be why they got paired up later on.
