Mature content for Spoilers, since this is kind of a really big moment in the story.Fanart for Chapter 19 of Flowey is Not A Good Life Coach by unrestedjade. I've mentioned it before on my tumblr, but oh my god, I love this fic so much. It takes my two favorite things- Royal Guard!Papyrus and scumbag Flowey and combines them into such an amazing trainwreck. It's super well-written and all of the characters are spot-on- especially Flowey. Best Flowey I've ever read. I heartily recommend it, although I do have to warn you that it's very angsty and has some pretty brutally violent moments. It might be a bit much for some people. Flowey is an abusive sack of shit towards everyone's favorite skeleton cinnabun. Don't read it if you don't feel like crying every chapter, but man, it hurts so good.
I've loved every chapter, but this scene, and specifically this line gave me chills.
I'll probably be drawing more stuff for this fic. Kill me softly.

I remember this part, too. I had some really conflicted emotions for Alphys...but I know she means well. And yeah, like the person before me, at least Paps finally had someone to talk to about it.

Ugh, man, THIS PART. This part absolutely gutted me. Just tore out my heart and ground it into fine little shreds, it did. I was terrified but so so relieved that Papyrus had confided in SOMEONE about what he was going through. (Came back to bite them all in the butt later but it's the thought that counts, and I really... don't fault Alphys for doing what she did. A pissed off friend is better than a dead friend.)
Oh man, their expressions though. Alphys looks terrified and worried but you can tell she's fixated on every word that's coming out of Papyrus' mouth, and Papyrus...gosh, even if you can't see most of his face, he looks so utterly exhausted, the poor abused string bean.

AAAAAAH, I KNOW. T_T I can only hope that it doesn't end too badly and that Sans puts the fear of God into Flowey because that weed has been long overdue for a proper beatdown since chapter 1 and I need to see someone reduce him to charred cinders before the end. I need this.

You nailed Alphys expression, and the tensed atmosphere of the fic very well with your shading and color scheme !
I actually really enjoy the fic as well (even if I felt it as a little pushy from time to time -not exactly knowing where to start and stop brutality, and it lost its efficency on me on some chapters, but I am reaaally way too critical towards storytelling, and this fic just has some awfully good moments -this one being one of them :3).

But I think that one of the saddest parts of this whole story is that it technically can't end well. I really can't see how this can end well, since the only one having any kind of power over things is Flowey. But I kinda hope I'm wrong, because dang. Uncool, Flowey, very uncool of you.

Well, if there's any happy consolation, it's that we already know that this timeline's going to be reset so that none of it ever happened. At least there's that. :V
But I am really curious what the resolution to this timeline is going to be. I really hope it doesn't go the route of killing off Sans or anything, but every time I keep thinking we've plateaued on the misery this fic keeps piling it on. I want this to be the timeline where Flowey finds out what Sans is capable of for the first time, and the bros fighting together is what frustrates him into giving up. I want them to have a brief moment where they understand and appreciate each other's suffering without secrecy... and then it all gets wiped. That'd be good by me.
The next chapter is likely to be the last one, so I'm both excited and concerned.

Gosh dang this is some awesome artwork. I love everything about this--the shading, the poses, the expressions, how you can feel Papyrus's expression even though he's not facing us...
This scene killed me. A small part of me is happy but the rest of me is going to be completely terrified for the rest of the week because SO MANY THINGS COULD GO WRONG AT THIS POINT.
(also this is a weird note but since I woke up this morning I've been wanting to draw this scene too %D;; Seems you beat me to the punch, but I'm still gonna give it a swing! I'm not trying to copy you or anything though. D%;; )
