i have a question though, the "live preview" buttons on your resources site, is that a css code that can be used on dA? it's the transform thingy, right? i'm new at coding and i'm exploring the things that i can play around with in journal skinning.

DeviantART unfortunately can't use transitions, which is CSS3. The best you could do here is have the color be something else on the hover, but you can't create any smooth transitions here.

I see. What I've discovered is that we can make the hover effects look like buttons are being pressed by changing the shadow properties, which is cool, considering that those transitions can't be used...yet? I hope they allow us to code with that soon.

Nah, this one's intended just for buttons. 

The way I've created my gallery directory forces the user to do a lot of the customization on their own, so I'm currently trying to figure out a way to make it into an easy-to-use form. If I can, I'll put up a different creator for those.

I was just wondering. Wouldn't it be possible to do it with the codes  you've provided? Since you've given the buttons that reveal messages when you hover over them. It's kinda the same thing except you use deviations and "div align" . Right?

Yeah, I had stupidly complex code that I'm using right now for my gallery directory. Need to fix that up first .-.

The issue is that all the images are different sizes, and I want to make it so that automatically align well without the user having to step in and manual change things.
