Prone to hero-worship as I sometimes am, I want to give a critique on this particular piece because I find it to be particularily beautiful. A style consisting of simple shapes, made special by =SimplySilent 's use of different text- and box-shadows, opacity changes on mouse over, clever padding and margin values, as well as borders. It stands to mention that the CSS code is as clean and controlled as its visual output. In my eyes, the "Transparent Journal CSS" proves once more that a beautiful design can do without fancy graphics, as long as there's a creative and dedicated coder working the keyboard.

Would appear DA's silly new 'Core' symbols next to usernames break on this journal skin o: When using the :dev*username*: code, the normal star symbol doesn't appear correctly, shows up as some sort of little cursive f, which I assume is some kind of backroom coding error for when the symbol doesn't appear as it should. I got several of my friends to confirm the issue on their end, so it isn't browser-related nor my computer.
Anywho, with or without a fix, just wanted to make you aware since I'm still using this skin for a group of mine, for the time being.
