Description If I knew this would be Alaskan when I started drawing it, it would've gotten a pretty sweet plow. But that didn't happen, and not that the cowcatcher looks bad. The all weather cab and associated tender was just a whim as I was doing it, wondering what they'd look like on a narrow gauge loco.

When I draw these bigger locos, I usually draw the loco and tender separately on the same page and then photoshop them together. This one came out better than the last one I tried...

I've noticed that you draw the steamers with a lot of space between the boiler and the wheels. Is there any reason? Most locomotives I've seen don't have that.

The great thing about steamers in cold weather; They are always really warm, and if not, you've got a problem!

that detail is stunning! The curtains even have string for the crew to close them.

It isn't really an actual locomotive, I just made it up. But it is designed like it could be a real one.

HMMMMMMMMM.

The tender looks Soviet. Just saying.

But then....

You CAN see Russia from Alaska.

It's a sweet-looking engine, Adam. But you know that I'm a sucker for vestibule cabs/tenders. At least, I assume you know.

P.S.: Fairbanks and Denali?

The tender was sorta based on this CP kitbash I saw the other week, but yeah XD

And yes, that's what F&D stands for
