Description
It IS a narrow gauge articulated camelback with a Woopaire. Mainly a camelback to allow for the biggest firebox possible in the smaller loading gauge. No tender on this one because I ran way short on room. This thing is so big I barely have room to draw a tender on a separate line above it!Related content

Alrighty then, what an unusual narrow gauge unit. Must pull quarter mile coal drags through mountains to warrant such ludicrous proportions.

What's your track gauge and loading gauge on this thing?
Based on the proportions of the cab, maybe you need multiple firemen on this thing? Β Then again, shoveling builds character and upper arm muscles right?

You could make this tiny little tender on the back of it like on those Ffestiniog engines and make the poor fireman stand on it as it shakes back and forth.

The Erie Railroad did field a trio of similar locos (0-8-8-0, later rebuilt to 2-8-8-2 with conventional cabs) for helper service out of Susquehanna, PA. They were retired from service after the Erie bought its 105 2-8-4 Berkshires, which released its 2-10-2s for helper service.

My mind: Blown. It's hard to fathom what and outside frame Wooten Firebox...wait, it's a Belpaire too? This is NUTS. I love it, and perhaps would someday make it into an On30 model.

That'd be awesome- I'd love to see it.

VERY interesting design!! Although a bit too modern for my tastes I will confess I wouldn't mind having a model of it. Or perhaps a Trainz model on the 30ng forum!
Nice use of outside frames too by the way!!

Within the next month or so I think I'll be able to get a laptop! So I can FINALLY start working with Trainz again!!
Then I can start working on those routes I had started and then lost. I'm just itching to work on the "Carbon Canyon" route again!

This is the most deranged thing I've seen in some time.
It's BRILLIANT.

XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I don't even remember why I started it...
Woopaire was unintentional, meant to just have a Belpaire but it just kinda showed up...
