Description
8" x 11" @600 DPI. Art by Jim Lee, Scott Williams and Alex Sinclair. Those of you attending SDCC 2011 may have seen this on the cover of the Souvenir Book. Another great, iconic image by Jim and Scott. The best thing about this one is that the shirts are available right off the bat and as always, the folks at Graphitti Designs have picked the perfect shirt color to compliment the art.All art and characters ™ & © 2011 DC Comics. Thanks!!
It's a couple of fractals and filtered effects that I manipulated to fit in with the figures.

JLA is set five years in the past in the re-launch continuity. Hal still has his ring then.

interesting. so it is basically a reboot of the entire DC universe eh?

They're saying it isn't, but since most of the big titles are undergoing changes, I'm calling it a re-boot. For example, Superman is now the first public superhero, but Batman had been operating as an "urban legend" for several years prior. Hal has also operated as a Green Lantern for a while. Supposedly, Eddie Berganza has a revised timeline for the new continuity, that won't be shared with readers, to help staff keep a better handle on storyline developments.

Interesting. Before reading what you just said i kind of hated DC for making another re-boot. Now i feel more and more pumped and looking forward to it!
