Let the geekiness continue!I'm taking geekiness to new dimensions, aren't I?
So I was a bit bored last night and started watching "Silence in the Library" and "Forest of the Dead" and my friend came over. When the latter episode came to a finish the forementioned friend said it'd be cool to have a notebook that resembled the TARDIS, and I of course agreed. And huzzah! Here's what that little bit of chat produced.
The notebook is A5 with 60 pages (Well, 120 if you count both sides of the pages, but that's just me trying to make it sound grander than it is). Materials include paper (made to look older with tea), cardboard, acrylic paints, basic things needed for bookbinding, lots of glue and luck.
I tried to make it durable, and definitely not as disheveled as the one seen on screen
It would be quite useless... Then again, I have no idea what to do with this one.I plan on painting in more detail, but first I need to make a trip down to the shops...
Anyways, hope this amuses someone

That is brilliant! I wanted to do that when I saw it, but sadly, I haven't the book-binding skills. I wonder how easy it would be to mod a regular notebook. Ohh got the crafting itch now!

I actually did another version of this, just the covers that you can put over the covers of a normal notebook, any notebook that's A5 in size and then when it's filled move them onto another notebook.
You can certainly build something similar as this onto an existing notebook, it'll probably be a lot easier than first binding the pages and then constructing the covers.
I wish you all the luck and let me know when you've finished it, if you decide to make one.

I would totally buy this - I keep a diary every day, and to have one that looks like the TARDIS would be awesome. Can't wait to see it with the telephone lables, etc.!

Randomly i've just this minute finished watching those two episodes on the BBC iplayer - saw the thumbnail and thought that can't be from what I just watched can it??... and it was!!
