Description Meh, a quickie at 5am... it's not overly interesting... but if I'm doing 256 speedpaints, might as well throw stuff up. Painter 9 as per normal.

I wish this would not be digital then you would get 10 of 10 points. But now you get 6 points.
But its cool.

I love the colours, and the painting style, but what i love more is how you've added a grainy look to the painting, how did you do that! it suits your work well!!

The rough, chiseled look you got with this one is great! Just a question about your speedpaint: how long and how many layers? I'm trying to learn Painter, so I'm intersted in knowing more about how others use it.

Oh, I always do speedpainting on one layer... it's faster and looks better for the most part. I think I spent around 30 minutes messing with this.

You’ve got some cool stuff happening in this, which brushes were you using?

sinix In reply to PootDamnYou [2005-10-14 14:47:30 +0000 UTC]

This was purely the Thick & thin brush (under "Pens" in painter 9).

I disagree to say that it isn't interesting - people who can pull off those quickie impressionistic but awesome speedpaints get my upmost respect - as does this - top stuff

Interesting...

And 256??? Is that like your total thus far? Also how many on avrage do you do a week?

sinix In reply to TheFlaw [2005-10-14 14:56:30 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I started numbering my DA speedpaints in hex, so it's just my goal to hit 256 by the middle of next year, which isn't even one a day.
