EDIT: Then it got me a job in animation, so moral is you should procrastinate more

I'm considering doing some environmental pixel animations but I never thought of it on that sort of scale

I am not into the dressed-too-extreme-character-approach. However your fire-weapon-effect really is a sight to see. I especially like the dispersing trail when it is swung.
