I have a few questions, if you don't mind:
What is ven?
Can I make one of his kind?
What was he before he was mutated?

He really isn't something in particular, he's a mutation of mutations, an experiment. He use to be a species but through generations and generations of mutations and radioactivity, he can't really be considered a "species".
Since he does not have a species and is simply a mutation, you can obviously make a mutated animal I'm not owning that idea, but having a creature with a similar design (skull head with a mane and 6 legs) is something I don't want, although I don't own these traits, I don't want someone to make a similar design with the intention of it being similar. But if you want to make a character with a mane or skull head, by all means go ahead, but don't make it similar to his design.
Since his DNA was mixed with other animal DNA, that's a hard question to answer, however his species was a the first ones of this project (to heavily mutate a creature that could live in a toxic environment), and comparing Ven to that species, there are practicing no similarities except that his original species walked on 4 legs (while Ven now has 6).

I have been waiting for this one I tell ya!
Also Ven got his floof back. c':
Guess he just had a shaving period or something.
I love his head design, the skull shape is quite imposing and really gives off the toxic/hazardous vibe of his character.
I'm not sure if you wan't any long questions this time around considering how busy you are these days. But I'll ask away if given the okay by ya!

I'll start off small, since there wasn't much lore included in this ref.
So these are purely from my curiosity.
Where was Ven from before traveling to Xidreoxus?
And what's it relationship with the other world?
Is where he came from more technologically advanced?
How did they mutate him there?
He is capable of preventing the gas from becoming poisonous, but is there a treatment for when it is? Or will a victim of it simply be resigned to death?

Sorry for the late reply kdkwad I forgot to send my reply-
Ven is from another planet that has a far more advanced technology than Xidreoxus. It can be considered earth but, ruined with toxicity and experimentation. Ven was born and raised there, ever moment until he escaped was him stuck in a laboratory, constant doses of radioactive and toxic chemicals. He has essentially a test subject, part of a project to see just how much an animal could endure. The project was split in two sections, mutation and radiation. Mutation was when they had genetically modified and mixed the DNA of animals to try to get a monster that could actually stay alive. After that, they moved onto radiation, which was when the doses began. After the first experiment died from overdose, they began dosing the mother (yes Ven is a mammal, or well his mother was, kind of hard to explain since he is a mutation of so many things).
It is more so a gas that makes you ill rather than death, it all depends on how much you breath in. The more intake the more dangerous, and if you breath that gas for a good while, then yes death is the option. If not, then the victim just becomes ill with vomiting and weakened bodies and such.

So first things first.
Did they want something to survive these tests so that they could begin adding these special mutations to themselves?
Considering their world is filled to the brim with radioactive material and most likely lethal levels of toxicity.
Or are those living on the planet immune to these otherwise dangerous things?
If so, why experiment on trying to make something live through the radiation?
Ven is a mutated animal of sorts, but was he born mutated? Did any possible mutations from his mother carry to him, was their some form of hybrid mixing? Such as was his mother a mutated creature too, or possibly his father?
Or did he become mutated after birth due to the experiments?
Also who or what was the first experiment that died?
Was Xidreoxus a surprise to Ven when he got there? How do the inhabitants of the world feel about him?

They wanted to see exactly how strong of a creature they could create that could thrive and live through the toxicity of the planet. If they could find the perfect one, they could start injecting doses of that creature's DNA into themselves so they could speed up the process of radioactive and toxic immunity. He was born mutated. The process was more of a "insert egg into mother", so his "mother" never really wanted him nor cared for him since she had no relation to him at all. It's like giving a chicken a duck's egg to keep warm until it hatches, but this was inserted rather than placed in a nest, and the mother not wanting the child at all.
Not really to be honest, since that portal is public, a lot of creatures have come through. However, his skull like head did cause a few stares. To this day however, if a creature sees him for the first time, they become slightly intimidated from his muscles and head.

So did the people of this planet just screw everything up from their technological advancements? Or was the world always like that?
I'd imagine with an up bringing like that Ven holds no particular care for his mother either? Or did he never even know her or was aware of her disdain for him?
I'd imagine the world he now inhabits is quite different from the older one. Did he have any trouble adjusting upon arrival or did he get used to it rather quickly?
Also with these portals being so open, how are citizens of a world accounted for? Do you just become an official resident of the world by passing through, or is there a process that needs to take place?
Because I'd imagine to some extent there is a lot traffic from these portals.

Yeah they did a big all screw up pft
Yeah Ven has no connection towards his supposed mother. Especially since he did not even stay with her long since he was basically immediately taken. He could sense her disdain though, yeah. Since he was born she simply ignored his existence.
Yeah he had a lot of trouble adjusting. He was used to little to no plant life, ash filled skies and ground. So the sudden vibrance and life of everything was a shock. Also because his whole life until he moment he had left the facility, he walked on metal/tiled floors and would rarely walk onto stone flooring, so the sudden impact of different textures and smells was nuts.
Anyone can live there by entering the portal, but because of the fact that the world is known for the Second Hell, Anubis, and other strange creatures, it is more of a tourist location. Also since that portal is watched by a God who can sense who belongs to the land and who doesnt. So a wrong mistake or simply Gods wanting less people around, it could lead you forcibly pulled back through the portal, so to have a permanent stay you do have to go through a process (still need to figure this part out but this is the basics).
When the portal first became public, there was a huge amount of visitors which caused a lot of problems, but as time went on it decreased, but was still a huge amount. So these days, the usually control traffic by only opening it for certain amounts of time in certain worlds, and when they close you simply appear back on your planet in front of the portal. Though some planets and civilizations have created trade systems and signed agreements to have a portal permanently open. There is a festival once a year or 2 where a portal is opened on to a whole heap of planets for 2 days for people to visit, which is also how Ven was able to enter (he became permanent after meeting Yume and speaking to the God who watched the public portal, who agreed to allow him to stay and go through the process to see if he would be denied or not).
