I love the use of paper with words on in the background - gives it another layer and also a nice texture! The way you've used the paint is also nice, and I loved the tones used.

Did you intentionally use newspaper or phonebook page for canvas or did you just forget either of them under ?
Anyway, that newspaper/phonebook page gives it kinda of nice or interesting feel to it. Nice painting.
