The idea for this Blaster came from me wanting to give Quinn a unique firearm, originally I had her alternating between using a DH-17 and DL-44, and while I love those Blasters, I wanted to give her something new, finally it struck me recently, I’ve grown to really love Mateba-style revolvers, particularly the inverted/underslung barrel design, and utilising the Star Wars design philosophy of taking real world weapons and modifying them to look sci-fi, the Mateba 2006m (currently my favourite firearm) made the PERFECT base!
