Chase was a good woman, a hero, one of Isabelle's best pilots, she taught me the ins and outs of Squadron Combat, and could make any ship dance, her pride and joy was Red Star, a heavily modified Y-Wing, it's bulky engines could push it's speed beyond any other ship in the squadron, flying straight she was three times faster than a regular Y-Wing and that's just cruising, she flew like no other pilot as well, people think I push the odds? They should've seen HER flying! She liked to act cocky too, and most folks only saw that side of her, but those closest to her knew her differently, the cocky ace was a front she'd put up, to hide how scared she was... Scared of failing, scared of dying, scared of giving up... Honestly, though she'd never have believed it, she was one of the bravest people I knew. ~Quinn Shara's memoirs, Early Rebel years, remembering one of her old squadmates.

Star Wars OC stuff, introducing Alanah Chase (Or just Chase) one of Quinn's squadmates during the early pre-Yavin years, she's an ace pilot, who joined Isabelle's group early on, before Quinn. Prior to joining she worked for her family's farming business as a crop duster, and had been flying since her early teens. She joined Isabelle whilst her group was primarily an aid group, and was one of the first pilots of the group to earn a kill when it took a more rebellious direction.

Whilst she acts cocky and boastful, her true feelings are mired with self doubt, she's scared of dying, but even more terrified of inaction, that if she chooses not to do something, her squadmates will suffer, this often causes her to make really rash, split-second decisions, fueled by adrenalin and impulse, endangering her life to protect her friends...

She's good friends with her squadmates, who all look up to her, Quinn especially, as she taught Quinn how to pilot like a pro (though also some bad habits, and risky maneuvers).

Anyhow, that's enough about Chase for now, I hope ya'll like her, feedback appreciated.
