Surprise! A birthday gift for the wonderful rayn44 ! She's an awesome artist with wonderful characters, and a great friend, and despite her refusal to believe it is one of my biggest inspirations when I decided to create my own Star Wars content, to this day she still amazes myself and many others with her fantastic artwork, soo, well, happy birthday Rayn, hope it's a good one, and that you have a great year ahead, looking forward to seeing more excellent artwork from you!
I decided to draw both Aira-ty and Tora, I knew I was gonna draw Tora because of how enthusiastic Rayn is about her, and I figured that since I'm using the Imperial AU, and Tora looks up to Aira-ty, it'd be fun to do something with them interacting!
Then I remembered this artwork:
And the idea came to me, Tora asking Aira-ty to sign it, it's absolutely perfect! XD
So yeah, adding a little comedy into one of the darkest of the AUs, as Tora nervously approached Aira-ty, who is herself surprised by the poster!
This was a lot of fun to draw, ever since I started drawing Star Wars related art I've been having so much fun, thank you for helping to inspire me join this community! (Also thank you for the editing tips, my programs don't have all the tools, but I'm adapting thanks to your help, hopefully the skin tones aren't too far off, if you want I can sent you the unsigned version through Sta.sh. ;w; ) Tora is a really fun character to draw, I love her hair, and her lipstick, really badass, and then there's Aira-ty, who is a total boss, especially in Storm Commando gear, she looks incredible!
Anyway, I hope ya'll like, as ever feedback is greatly appreciated!

*laugh* Oh my god! You know hard to decide who's the more embarrassed here, Tora or Aira-ty! xD Tora wants a sign from her hero while Aira-ty is both shocked and indignant that there is a poster about her??? It is so embarrassing! So yeah I always thought that she'd get mad if she knew Tora had such a thing above her bunk... x'D Even if it's really a cool little thing, totally respecting her (and at least not a pinup). But still... xD I really wonder what she would do in this situation ehehe... And Tora is such a cute fangirl here, who could she stay mad at her? Awww x3 Somehow I can see Tora seeing a hero in Aira-ty, this bad ass woman leading the Storm Commando, kicking ass, but knowing her a bit personally she also may see the mother figure in her. (Tora's mom died) So I have strong feelings towards these two together eheh.
You drew both of them amazing, they look really cute and still bad ass! The details are gorgeous as always and the situation is really funny! x'3 Thank you so much for this, I really don't deserve your hard work!

Heheh! I know right, it's just such a silly situation, but that's what makes it the perfect "what if" moment! XD I can imagine, I rather think Aira-ty doesn't really see herself as a hero figure in the Imperial AU, seeing someone idolize her like that is probably a bit concerning for her? Especially this younger girl, who probably doesn't yet know the kinds of horrors someone like Aira-ty is used to seeing. But at the same time it is nice to be respected, and seeing the way she looked out for Tora too, it's only natural. I'd be interested in just how Aira-ty would respond to this. XD
