Eheh, I drew Lenne again, because I love her, blatantly. No (Well yes, but seriously), I was really pleased with how Wicked Soda turned out, so I figured I'd play around with the pose/style! I love how Lenne looks here, her hair was just PERFECT for this!
I really love how she dresses... I FREAKING WANT HER SHIRT!!! It's Dead Master from Black Rock Shooter, yes, Lenne is also a big anime fan.
I really like how her hair flips around at the bottom, it goes well with her 'antenna'...
I do hate colouring her hair though...
By the way, the title was inspired by the song "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons.

Over all I'm pretty pleased with how this turned out, It's a little sketchy, and there are some ink bleeds, but me'h! ^_^
I hope you like how she turned out, I'd really appreciate some feedback too!!

Holy cow, dude. This is totally killer!!! You totally dominated that pose. Like, seriously, this is so excellent. This is definitely one of my faves by you. I'm putting it in my 'Inspiration/Motivation' folder because I seriously like it that much.
I'm seriously in love with the detail in this pic as well. Dude, so awesome! That belt is sweet--NO. That entire outfit is sweet.

Heheh, I'm always a stickler for the little details, especially the outfits, I love giving characters clothes I want myself, like that shirt for example, I'm currently obsessed with Black Rock Shooter... XD I really love drawing stuff on shirts, I see them as a canvas within a picture...

Well, you certainly should be proud because this is awesome.
I've never been too into the details except for the eyes and the hair (they're my fave parts), but the details in all of those other areas are really important too, and honestly, they really make the clothing look better.
Drawing clothes that you want in reality is probably the best way to get you in the mindset to draw them. That's a good strategy.
I think it's sort of cool that you see the shirt as a canvas within the picture. I've never looked at it that way. I've always contemplated drawing things on shirts in the past, but I always thought I'd just ruin the picture, so I never bothered, plus, most of the time it was an outfit that didn't need the added touch, but there were definitely occasions where I thought a design would be nice, but oh well. Lol.
Anyway, you're very welcome, and I'm actually working on a little story with a couple of friends, and this is something we used to do in the past. Point is, I've never NOT drawn my characters no matter how much I was lacking inspiration, so since I'm actually finding some inspiration through your work, you honestly may see something from me within the next few weeks. I need to flesh them out before I draw them, but once I do, designing them is the next step, so here's to hoping.
This Kamina icon seems to the best way to show my enthusiasm, so don't mind it. Lol

Heheh, the only problem with this strategy is that you often realize that those clothes don't exist, and you're jealous of your own character for having the clothes you want! XD
I see it like that mainly because I can't stand wearing blank shirts myself, they HAVE to have something on them, weather they're manga designs, or band logos, I can't wear a plain shirt...
Of course though there are times when it would be better to leave it plain, depending on the character or circumstance.
That's good to hear! I really hope I do see some artwork, I too need inspiring from time to time!

Yeah, I totally get that. I've never really given any of my past characters clothes that I'd want, but that's not to say that I haven't seen things on characters in general that I've wanted and know aren't real. It's quite the painful bit to know that you're designing clothes that you'll never have the opportunity to where.
I love shirts with designs on them, but I'm very fond of solid shirts. I love a good plain T-Shirt. Designs are fun, but sometimes, just a simple black shirt, blue shirt, or whatever color is all I really need. But it's definitely true that some characters, or circumstances, call for clothing pieces that lack certain design elements. In that case, you could always opt for an interesting color palette, oddly placed stripes, useless pockets, something never done before, etc.

Y'know, for a while I did want to go into the clothing industry... But my fashion sense goes beyond niche, the only person who'd buy my designs would probably be myself... XD
I really like designs using stripes or lines... Like in Bleach, at the end of the Soul Society ark, when Uryu made everyone some new clothes, their designs were very simple, but very elegant at the same time... I think there is a certain elegance that can be found only in simplicity.

I think that may not be true. I mean, the fashion industry has many facets. I've some truly unorthodox stuff in my time and people some to eat it up. The outfits I've seen in some of your work definitely aren't totally mainstream, but they also aren't completely out of the ordinary like a lot of the stuff I see online. It's generally the people with the most unique tastes and whimsical ideas who break into the scene most of the time anyway. Creativity is key here.
I'm not even gonna lie, I've never aspired to be in the fashion industry, but I have certainly found myself very enticed by fashion as a whole. I really love clothing and I used to really love designing outfits. That was probably my favorite part of drawing a new character because I had to come up with an entirely new outfit design.
Designs with lines and stripes are probably some of the best in general because just a simple alteration in pattern can completely take the design in a different direction. Though I don't recall the outfits Uryu made as it's been quite some time since I've seen Bleach (you should link me to an example), I can definitely agree that there's a certain elegance to simplicity. Some people don't understand and try to overcomplicate their outfit designs. It's been a WHILE, but I'm gonna try to keep my stuff from being too crazy once I get to my character designs.
She is most certainly the Otaku Dream. That's for sure. She's by far my favorite character from Lucky Star and just a generally idealistic character in my mind.
