I really could not remember if I have already uploaded these or not XDSince I´ve been having a truly hectic time these last month/s, I made up my mind to bring you at least some fun sketches to look through while I prepare something more ellaborate *namely, a new Loyalty page, some more random comic/s, and the next character chart ^^
Here you go: some stylised skekSil sketchies, for expression studies! <3 *coz I never get tired of drawing this old guy!

You do expressions really well! I can't even do that kinda stuff on human characters, let alone Skeksis like you have.

This is really kind from you, thanks a lot! ^^ I'm humbled and happy to know you like my art this much, I can promise you it's just a matter of practice *and making faces in front of a mirror while watching yourself and scribbling them down for later references*...In the case of skeksis, you only need to imagine how the expressions would translate if you had a beak in front of your face instead of a shorter mandible, lips and a fleshy nose. It can be done- it's only a matter of stylising a bit and making things bend and pull in a way which can convey the necessary emotion best * I hope this rambling is making any sense 
**Also: small expression-drawing tip: if you ever take the route of "watching your own expressions to pull them into drawn characters", you may end up noticing you're making faces (the same faces you're drawing) while you draw, even if you are not looking at yourself at a mirror to capture it anymore. It happens a lot, and it is strangely helpful (somehow, if you catch yourself instinctively making faces while you draw a strong expression, you'll see your art will come more expressive and fluent. It's a bit crazy, but the emotion you express with your face at those weird times ends up translated into the face you're drawing somehow- whether it's human, creature-like, or animal. )
