Let me just say that the roses were ... awkward. And I'm not even going to try to describe the process, because it's one of those things that sound even worse when you try to explain it. ~z8-0 is in the process of making some alternative simplified versions that will be added to the final template.
He did suggest that one could perhaps make a couple of the Kawasaki origami roses instead - I think that perhaps that could work, but I'm not sure, since I have never made those. Plus, the size may not be suited ... I dunno.
If you are wondering how this model is standing up by itself, I cheated and used micro-filament, which is virtually invisible. However, there will be a base included in the download pack, that you can insert Roselia into, so that it will be able to stand independently; but I didn't build it as I have run out of printer ink.

Thank you! The roses are complicated, and to be honest, I wouldn't want to build them again.
I am hoping that the simplified version will be significantly easier, without compromising the quality of the rose, eg: single sided.
I'll have a look at the kawasaki rose sometime, to see if I can calculate the appropriate size before the release date, because they are very, very pretty.

Mmm... a little more praticing on the Roses and some synchronization will have a nice touch. I'll do those roses (Not the origami ones)

Yeah! The photo I was waiting for! Definitely it's going to be in my grass hysteria set! I always liked Roselia, and I was wondering how it would stand. I don't understand this microfilament thing (despite it's a citoskeleton component), and I really think the roses are great,although they do look hard...

Micro-filament is basically transparent sewing thread. I attached it to the back of her head with some sticky tape and hanged her from a hinged lamp.
The base will be much easier to stand her in, trust me

I see now, ^^. But I don't really like placing them on bases... but I'm sure Roselia will look reat even in a base, specially made by you guys!
