nice! did you use any 3d models to paint over, or did you just use perspective lines?

thanks, no 3D model and in this case no perspective lines... it was just "guessed". In more complicated pictures i use perspective lines.

I always knew you would be related to WH40K.
And it's a pleasure to see your art combined to richness of this universe. You compose very well with the atmosphere provided by Games Workshop.
Great work of yours. As usual.

Defenitely ! The Imperial Armour is really pleasant to play. Crush your enemies only with tanks and heavy guns. That's the way I like it too !
I've recently bought myself DoW2 as well, but still haven't got a chance to experience it⦠Too bad.
And I strongly advise you to try the "Dawn of Steel" mod on the very first opus. It allows you to play with the very first Imperial Guard. It was made before Winter Assault. And you have many more vehicles than with the "official" Imperial Guard. I personnaly find it perfectlt donee. A brand new army, with a genuine look. I love it.
If you're interested, have a look here : [link]
And here's a video of the rendering in the game : [link]
Anyway. Still good to know some fellow DoW players around the planet ! Why not on dA ?

how does it work? is it some kind of new campaign for imperial guard or just new units...??

Huhβ¦ Actually, I don't remember if they've done a campaignβ¦
But still brand new units. You have to install it on the very first game. You won't have all of the new races from Winter Assault and following, but it's still a complete army, with units, buildings, technology and whole new strategy.
I can only strongly advise you to try it. Just for the heavy armoured vehicles !

This kind of reminds me of the Pillar of Autumn from Halo but just a thousand times more epic.

Very cool. I like the idea of turning a wrecked craft into a base of operations.

YES! This is the perfect application of your skills: an excellent rendering of the crashed starship (with awesome work on the wrecked bits), coupled with that Imperium flair in the arches and ornamentation. Simply brilliant!

Where do you get all these awesome ideas from? Every single one of it is worth writing a book!
And the illustrations are likewise great!
