what company would you ideally want to work for?

Ideally, I don't really have a company in mind, I just want to work on a great movie. All the companies have their good and bad movies(Pixar is exceptional, though I don't care for Cars). My ideal dream would be to work with fantastic people on a great idea. I think that alone, no matter what company is putting it out, would be incredible.
How about yourself?

either disney or dreamworks. I really love traditional animation, but i think that's because i've never tried 3D. but i think we learn that next year. so if i'm any good at it, we'll see what comes my way

Ah I see. I don't mind doing 3D, I prefer traditional but I love animating either way.

Whoa!! That school must be amazing because they clearly taught you well. Those are some pro techniques! I'm really impressed. It was very creative how he used his wings to emulate the hound's ears, too. Very fabulous!

Mind if I ask how you got the animation that smooth?
I don't know AfterEffects well enough to know what options are available for animation and the only program I got a bit of experience with is Flash.
Just curious whether AfterEffects works better for linear animations.
I see that the others made some very nice animations too.

For the most part its the drawings themselves that determine whether something looks jittery. Flash's tools for drawing can be very inconsistent with lines(and are sometimes harder to control because it's through the use of a tablet instead of paper).
Also, one of the major differences between animating traditionally and digitally seems to be whether it is possible to flip it. Through my experiences it seems that pencil/paper gives you more control over where the line is going, and it's easier to see while flipping.
That's just my experience though. There have been many animations that have been extremely smooth in Flash(I believe one of the other films I linked to is Flash, and her's is absolutely stunning).
