Upon being taken back to the colony, the den mothers quickly began to theorize about the two kits; where they came from, how old they were, if their parents were still in the colony, anything that could help explain why they were alone in the forest and how much care they would need. They were very quickly informed of three very important facts.

The blue one was Hawea.

The yellow one was Iago.

They were NOT brothers.
