Thanks! It sure is. Its only 50 minutes from here but I never really get the time to get there.
Going to have weekends off this summer so that will help.

Thanks very much. Its as easy as point and click in any direction
I wished I had a wide angle but that was all I could get. If I stood back any farther I'd have to go into the forest or climb the mountain to get an unobstructed view.

Wow! I could sure use one. I tried before but the price is pretty steep. About 2 weeks pay for an hour.
Look at this plane in a nearby town. This is Whistler, where the 2010 Olympics Winter Games were held. [link]
I recently chat with this person at times and maybe someday I can go. This is one of the most breathtaking views in Canada and well worth watching and here's their homepage here [link] They travel Canada on a Harley motorcycle and take HD videos of a lot of it. The camera mounts on the bike. Beautiful!

Yes I try to watch a lot of them but it takes so much time. They are certainly worth the watch for anyone with the time.

I don't find that objectionable at all. In fact not having it there gives us a sense of orientation

That's exactly the one I want
I was looking at them before. I also looked at the lower priced ones though And even Sigma but want Canon
When you're a step above homeless tilt shift is an application, not a lens
